1. The service

StrawberryChat is a browser-based communication platform with public chat, private messaging, profile features, voice and video communication, watch together functionality and related digital tools. It requires internet access and a compatible browser with JavaScript, cookies and local storage enabled.

2. Accounts and credentials

  • you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account;
  • you must keep your login details confidential and remain responsible for activity under your account unless the law says otherwise;
  • you must not transfer or sell your account without our written permission;
  • we may suspend or verify accounts where needed for security, abuse prevention or legal compliance.

3. Acceptable use

  • you must not use the service for harassment, fraud, spam, threats, hate speech, unlawful content or the disclosure of another person’s private information without proper authority;
  • you must not interfere with the operation, security or availability of the service;
  • you must not upload content you do not have the right to use or share;
  • we may moderate content and apply warnings, muting, suspension, bans or removal where needed to protect users and the service.

4. User content

You keep ownership of your content, but you give us a non-exclusive licence to host, process, display, transmit, moderate and back up that content to the extent necessary to operate StrawberryChat and deliver the features you use.

5. Paid packages and consumer information

  • before a purchase is completed, the service should display the package identity, price, billing period and main functionality of the paid offering;
  • checkout and payment processing may be provided through third-party payment providers;
  • any applicable consumer rights, including mandatory cancellation or refund rights, continue to apply where required by law;
  • complaints about purchases, support requests and dispute questions may be sent to support@strawberrychat.com.

6. Service availability and changes

We may update, improve, suspend or change parts of the service where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, abuse prevention or product development. We aim to do this in a proportionate way and not to remove already-paid core benefits without a proper reason.

7. Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate access where a user breaches these Terms, creates security or legal risk, abuses the service or puts other users at risk. Users may stop using the service at any time, and account deletion requests are handled under the Privacy Notice and relevant account processes.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, StrawberryChat is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights.

9. Governing law

These Terms are intended for the United Kingdom market. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply where required by law.
